Hannah Jarrell; Actor & Community Development Director
Hannah Jarrell began working with the company in 2006. She has developed supporting roles in six Summer Spectacle performances, including Penelope in The Odyssey and has most recently delighted in incorporating stilts and flying in her performance work, as seen in her role as the Hoopoe in Shahrazad, A Tale of Love and Magic. She is also a trainer for Double Edge’s student programs and leads the theatre’s work with K-12 programming.
Jarrell currently serves on the board of the Fostering Art and Culture Project. Prior to Double Edge, she was Managing Director and Performer with Time & Space Limited, an experimental theatre group and community arts organization in upstate New York, where she spent four years. She is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX where she received her BA in Theatre, German, and Spanish, and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College.
