Following our final performance of Leonora’s World, Double Edge will host a Gathering in Celebration of Leonora’s World. While tickets are sold out for Leonora’s World, you can still join us for this special event that will include a dinner served in the environment of Carrington’s painting the House Opposite and a conversation about the Surrealist artist’s work and life in the context of today’s world

.We are honored to have the following renowned scholars join us for this conversation:

  • Renowned Carrington and Surrealist scholar and biographer Dr. Susan L. Aberth, associate professor at Bard College and author of “Leonora Carrington: Surrealism, Alchemy, and Art”.

  • Author and curator Tere Arcq, curator of “Leonora Carrington: Magic Tales,” an exhibition of 223 Carrington paintings organized by the Museo de Arte Moderno in Mexico City.

  • Writer Jonathan P. Eburne, associate professor at Pennsylvania State University, author of “Surrealism and the Art of Crime,” and editor of ASAP/Journal.
