DESCRIPTION:What does climate resilience look like for Ashfield?\nThe Town of Ashfield – in partnership with Double Edge Theatre\, Ohketeau Cultural Center\, and the Arts Extension Service at UMass Amherst – has launched the Ashfield Rural Climate Resilience and Living Culture Project to explore this question.The project’s goals are to:\n\nCreate new opportunities for local organizations\, community members\, and Town staff to discuss goals and ideas related to three topics in Ashfield: clean energy\, nature-based resilience solutions\, and affordable housing;\nIdentify avenues for community partners and the Town to collaborate on future projects and grant proposals to achieve community goals related to the project focus areas;\nGrow Ashfield’s potential for creative collaboration and leadership on rural climate and community resilience in the region.\n\nThe dinner is an open discussion on the topics of:\n\n\n\n\n\nAffordable Housing\nClean Energy\nNature Based Solutions\n\n\n\n\n\nFood will be provided to in-person attendees.
