Dylan Young

General Manager, Costumiere, & Musician

Dylan Young (She/Her/Hers) came to Double Edge in 2018 as a volunteer, intern, and now Company Member. She works primarily in the office and costume shop, and performs as a musician in the outdoor spectacles. A Western Mass local, she graduated with a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Mount Holyoke College, where she directed and performed with Project: Theatre and the Victory Eights. She holds a Waldorf Teaching Certificate from Antioch University New England.

Double Edge resides on the ancestral homelands of the Nipmuc, Pocumtuck, and the Wabanaki Confederacy. We acknowledge and recognize the Indigenous Peoples who reside here and those who have lived, cultivated, and travelled on these lands for millennia. Their presence must be named after having been invisibilized for hundreds of years.

We also name and honor Susannah Honesty and Heber Honestman, two formerly enslaved people who were the original founders of Huntstown, now called Ashfield.
