We have gathered some information that will help you with your visit.

Please note that there is limited cell service in Ashfield, so in most locations you will not be able to communicate while in Ashfield, except by landline, phone or wifi services while in our town. There is wifi for use at all Double Edge properties. Each guest location in Ashfield has wifi services as well as most local eateries. If you need to contact us while traveling, please call our main office line 413-628-0277.

Please do not bring your pets! They cannot be accommodated in the performance or in your vehicle on Double Edge premises.

Double Edge Theatre is committed to our environment. Therefore, we ask that audiences refrain from bringing and disposing of their single use plastics at our facilities.

Double Edge resides on the ancestral homelands of the Nipmuc, Pocumtuck, and the Wabanaki Confederacy. We acknowledge and recognize the Indigenous Peoples who reside here and those who have lived, cultivated, and travelled on these lands for millennia. Their presence must be named after having been invisibilized for hundreds of years.

We also name and honor Susannah Honesty and Heber Honestman, two formerly enslaved people who were the original founders of Huntstown, now called Ashfield.

On the platform of Art Justice, we build equity and solidarity with deliberation and intentionality. This commitment includes the artists with whom we collaborate; the neighbors with whom we trade or work; our residency and training participants; and the consultants who helped to guide us. The mission / values / vision / work of Double Edge will always reflect the larger population of our region / our state / our country. Our people, our Ensemble, our collaborators identify themselves rather than being defined by others. Double Edge protects the silence of our internal space, while simultaneously ensuring that no one is silenced
