Payments

Tuition payments will be invoiced via Square, or can be made by cheque, over the phone with a credit card (413-628-0277), or via wire bank transfer (international transfer fee: $36).

Upon acceptance, a deposit of $500 is due within one week. The remaining tuition is due within one month of acceptance. Program tuition is non-refundable.

Housing

Participants will be housed in the Town of Ashfield. The guest artist and student accommodations include shared bathrooms and bedrooms. Located in the heart of Ashfield, the housing accommodations are a short walk from a gas station and convenience store, the Ashfield Hardware Store, the post office, and Ashfield Lake.

Double Edge resides on the ancestral homelands of the Nipmuc, Pocumtuck, and the Wabanaki Confederacy. We acknowledge and recognize the Indigenous Peoples who reside here and those who have lived, cultivated, and travelled on these lands for millennia. Their presence must be named after having been invisibilized for hundreds of years.

We also name and honor Susannah Honesty and Heber Honestman, two formerly enslaved people who were the original founders of Huntstown, now called Ashfield.

On the platform of Art Justice, we build equity and solidarity with deliberation and intentionality. This commitment includes the artists with whom we collaborate; the neighbors with whom we trade or work; our residency and training participants; and the consultants who helped to guide us.
